The Comics Lab is an informal space to explore storytelling through text and image. We bring people from all backgrounds (creative or otherwise) together to brainstorm, let loose, innovate and create. We invite creators to speak, show and share their process, we publish anthologies, run festivals, facilitate live comic readings, draw together, eat biscuits, make connections - we’re always open to new ideas.
The Comics Lab was set up by Sarah Bowie, Debbie Jenkinson and Paddy Lynch. We’ve been running since 2015 as a monthly meet-up in the Liquor Rooms. From April 2017 we’ll run as part of DCAF.
